Just got my Subaru STI back before they closed up. I always appreciate their service / care for my car, has been running great since I’ve taken my car there, they also seemed to give it a wash which was a nice courtesy from them, I noticed, they don’t always clean your car when you take it there, so don’t want others holding them to this review - “no guarantee they will clean your car for you” as I don’t want people to read this review and think a car wash is owed to them. But in general happy camper with this business, reliable and will continue to take car of my race cars here. A++ David Service: General repairs & maintenance

-5 STARS Alternator went in out my car at LAX, get my car towed to Loyola, get the quote for repairs.... over 1000.00 bucks for a battery and Alternator ( howdy freaking robbery), so since I live in the IE, 60 some miles away, without much choice agree to the repairs. Get my Jeep back a day later, pay the guy and go home. Two day later my the guy calls me to inform me they didn't put in the battery that I paid for, supposedly my battery tested bad. I'm expected to drive 60 some miles back to the shop for the battery to be changed. No offer to bring the battery to me and install it. Needless to say I opted for a refund. The best part.... I had my battery tested and it is just fine and never needed replacing. So basically you overcharged me, failed to perform the most simplest part of the repair(replacing the battery) and expected me to travel another 60 miles back to the shop to replace what was supposedly a bad battery.

My experience here was far below par. I would avoid this place at all costs. I had my car serviced here because I thought it would be easier and more cost effective, but I was sadly mistaken. The cost was not substantially less in comparison to getting your car serviced at the dealership, it came with a complimentary car wash which was horrible (I would of preferred to opt out). Shortly after getting my car serviced, my car started to mark that the coolant levels were low, although the full service includes an all liquid check (I don't believe this was done). When I called, I spoke with the owner and he was extremely rude and instead of helping he was extremely dismissive and passive aggressive. The worst costumer services experience I have received in a while. I was shocked to hear Tim say "I am the owner so if you are trying to get me in trouble it won't work" when I was just simply voicing my concern. Please avoid this place!!!!!

Quick service but they charged me $40 for a basic plug in my tire. I've never paid more than $10-20 for a plug and will not be coming back. The guy who worked there was nice but $40 for a plug is ridiculous.

Good fast service. Did everything I wanted and needed to do. No extra pressure to buy more or repair more.

Thank you Andrew and Steve for your excellent customer service. This is the best mechanic shop that I go to for oil changes, cabin filter changes, air filter changes, tire rotation, lifetime alignment and much more! I'd rather go here than getting my car serviced at Ford store. I really appreciate how they value their customers and positive energy. Thumbs up.

If you want cheap oil that will ruin you car, go to these guys. I decided to try something new and have my oil changed with Tim and his team because of the great reviews on yelp. Within 4 months my car started making awful noises so I took it to my regular mechanic who revealed to me that I was missing 4 quarts of oil which means unless there is a puddle of oil under my car every time I park it, Loyola Marina had shorted me and not only that but used the wrong oil type and quality on my german car. I called Tim to ask for a refund or some sort of make good on the situation and he told me it was my fault. The only other offer I was given was to come to his shop so he could PROVE to me it's my fault. I honestly would have been happy with even just $30 back from the $100 I spent especially since I had to pay for a whole new oil change with my regular mechanic but this business would rather call their clients liars than offer any sort of help other than for me to drive an hour to see them, another hour to inspect it, only to tell me to kick rocks. So if you're looking to get work done on your car, make sure it's with someone you trust because once you drive off the lot here, Tim will point the finger right back at you and then offer his services again to keep taking your money. Great bait and switch business. Would you ever know if your car got shorted on your oil when you pick it up or will you only find out once it's too late?
