Had air pressure coming out of one tire in need of a patch. Person helping me said they needed to charge me just to see the tire and add additional charges after to fix it. Total rip off went to Inglewood and got it fix for $8.

Hello Tim, it seems so easy for you to wash your hands of the responsibility. I noticed that you wrote a similar note in my invoice trying to cover yourself and blame me for turning something down. I did not turn down any service that you said was needed. You told me in February that the timing belt is something to replace in the future and then in July you told me that I should replace it in 10,000 miles. I have the original paperwork, btw. As the trip to Vegas was only 600 miles, I did not feel that it was an immediate problem. Again, I am not a mechanic. I asked that you make my car safe for the trip. As the auto professional you should have considered the trip to Vegas in real terms. You should have considered that we would be using the AC quite a bit because of the dessert heat and stressing the engine because of the elevation. You absolutely did not recommend a service that I turned down. You just said to do it in 10,000 miles. I've had the car for 14 years and I've kept it running well as a responsible mother who drives her children all day long. How dare you accuse me of turning down a necessary service to my car and putting my family in danger. You made the error which I'm sure is not the only one and that's why I will never bring my vehicles to your shop again.

This place is top notch and the service is really wonderful and accommodating. While doing some work on my car, I ran into several badly stripped bolts. After trying on my own for hours, I figured it was time to throw in the towel and have a professional extract them. I called four or five local mechanics/body shops, but nobody was willing to touch these and/or they were just too busy to see me. When I called Loyola Marina Automotive, they told me it was no problem and to come by right away. Tim, the shop owner, and all of his staff were incredibly friendly and more than happy to help. They gave me a very reasonable quote and told me it would be a few hours. Sure enough, the job was done and I got a call a few hours later. With a little creativity and a lot of skill, they were able to effectively extract the stripped bolts without any damage to the surrounding paint. They even let me know it was easier than originally expected and they dropped the price! I was thrilled with the service and the work and I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

This auto repair shop has the most amazing customer service. I came in to have my brakes done and they did a great job and more affordable than the dealership. I highly recommend checking them out for their fast and friendly service. Thanks Timothy!

I wish I didn't have to visit this place, but let's face it, I can't work on my own car. I've had my Jeep serviced here twice & Paul & the other staff have always been welcoming, informative & accommodating. As a woman, feeling comfortable & at ease when getting advice on what your car needs is important. I don't know too many women, (if any) that know much about cars. Well, Paul & the team at Loyola Marina Auto Care make me feel that I'm not being taken advantage of. They're never pushy, always informative on what I need, what's recommended & what can wait a little. I hope I don't have to see these guys too often, but for now I'm happy with their work. Bonus: Check for available coupons on their website.

I called up the shop after my car started shuttering. They were able to get my car in and repaired right away. They quickly diagnosed the issues and called me with an estimate. Service was great. Pricing was fair based on my previous auto shop experiences. They were very honest about the work they performed and they got my car back to me same day. Definitely recommending to my friends.

Went there because of check engine light. They did "diagnostics" for 124$ Recommended nearly 1000$ repair. I went to a different mechanic. He found vacuum hose which fell of the exhaust manifold and fixed it for free. Car passed a smog check without any problem. When these people mouth is moving- they are lying. If you don't know much about cars, don't go there! And the shop was filthy too!

Is so hard to look for a trustworthy mechanic especially in LA. I'm so happy that a good friend recommended me Loyola Marina Auto Care. I took in my 2003 BMW for a check engine light and trust me when I say I was so afraid as BMW are not a cheap car to maintain. For my surprise it was not a big thing and Tim call me explain what was the problem and it just took him a day to fix and the prize was so reasonable. Everyone is so friendly and professional. Thank you Tim and your wonderful staff.
