Professional and incredibly nice/kind team at Loyola Marina Auto Care. Paul who helped me - was so impressive with knowledge about my car repairs needs and detailed line by line, what the issues are and what the "Next Steps" in their finding to resolve the engine light issues that was caused the car to become non-operative for last six months. And other auto shops could not figure out to find what the issues were... until I took it to Loyola Marina - which they found the "issue" immediately! and resolved the issue in such care and total precision. This is a fantastic garage! Got my oil and air filter changed. They're quick, polite, do a great job and they even washed my truck!

We live in San Diego and my college bound daughter just moved to LA. Her Kia needed an oil change. I recommended the place based on being a AAA station and yelp reviews. AAA stations are not the cheapest, but they are not usually dealer pricing either. My daughter brought her Kia here for the oil change. She said she showed her AAA card for the AAA discount. They gave her an estimate of 20. My guess this is labor. When she picked up the car, the bill was for 72 (+/ -). For an oil change? Dealers are cheaper. My AAA station in San Diego charges 39. I asked her if they discussed different oil options, and she said no. They also didn't apply the discount. I'm sure these guys are not scam artists, but I think they took advantage of a young women student and just did the premium service without asking. Not sure if we will use them again.

Just can't say enough about Paul and Tim at LMAC. They did what others could not do. My car was shutting down without notice at any given moment. Paul and Tim went the extra mile to find and repair the cause. I feel safer and confident now while driving. Great work and hats off to you both.

So Cal born and raised - I tend to be reserved in offering praise - you don't want exceptional businesses to get too popular because then they get discovered by the masses. I had taken my 2008 Altima Hybrid with close to 260,000miles in for service here a few months back. This team was amazing. Part of the deal- the recommendation(s) of repair work that would be placed on the 'horizon'. One of the my 'sooner than later' repairs - belt and alternator service. Being a part of the Great COVID-19 2020 LOCKDOWN, it was in the back of my mind that this would be an opportune time to get my vehicle serviced. Would they be opened? How could I get my car to the shop with the least amount of 'Social Distance' exposure? By chance I got an e-mail from Paul that stated Loyola Marina Auto Care was considered a essential business by the State of California!! As a part of their extra step in service - they would come to me, pick up my Altima and provide the repair service- AND bring my car back to me! Are you KIDDING! High End Car Care Service for a 12 year old car?!!? This team. This Team. This TEAM! Paul knew who I was, e-mailed an invoice with a quote and sent The two A-Team members over. They were waiting to pick up my hybrid in less time than it took me to find my car keys and wallet!! In less than three hours - I got a call from the shop stating my car was ready and the guys would be bringing my car back home! There are dozens of well respected auto repair shops on the Westside - but there is just something special about this team! Thank you so MUCH! Thank you for not charging a penny over your initial estimate. Thank you for providing exceptional 'outside the circle' service. Daughter's car alternator broke. Asked Paul to help replace the alternator. Battery needs to be replaced and these guys went out of their way to asked O' Reily for a replacement since it's still under warranty. Car repairs are not fun but these repair shop will help customers lessen the burden.

Loyola Marina Auto Care offered incredible service! As a student at LMU, it was important for me to find a mechanic that I trust away from home, and I found that with Loyola Marina Auto Care. I have had several problems with my car recently and they have been able to take my car at a short notice and fix it fast as well as be patient with all of the questions and concerns I had. I definitely recommend to all if you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and professional mechanic.

Loyola Marina Auto Care got my daughter's car back in working order at a fair and reasonable price. Paul was extremely professional and patient with me over the phone and addressed all my questions and concerns even though he had already previously explained them to my daughter. My daughter goes to school/college in LA and I live in Northern California. Her car stopped on her while driving and AAA towed her to this auto repair place that is on their certified list. The problem was caused by another auto place (near me) less than one month ago. Loyola Marina Auto Care quickly diagnosed the issue and were able to get her car back in working order and fix the oil issue before severe damage occurred on the car. Incredibly helpful! They finished my car much faster than expected and gave me a good quote for the parts which was also lower than I've been quoted at chains. I have already recommended this place to friends who want great work without having to deal with a dealership.
