My boyfriend recommended this shop to me when he chose them for their good reviews. They were very honest with him about a brake assessment, suggesting the squeak should be repaired by the original installers for free rather than charging him to do it (this is why we were looking for a new shop). I brought my car in towards the beginning of the shut down. I needed oil, a smog check, and asked if they could look into some intense squealing I had when accelerating. Paul called me back later that morning and was extremely patient explaining some service my car was due for. He started off by asking how long I planned to keep my car - it is an 02 Civic. He wanted to make sure he was not suggesting expensive repairs if I didn't plan on keeping it long. I said I was in it for the long haul if possible (another 100,000 or more). I gave the thumbs up for all the suggested work (and we discussed some upcoming repairs to expect in the coming year). I picked up my very happy and much quieter car (all the squeaks fixed!) and have enjoyed great peace of mind since. I really feel like my red beast was in great hands and Paul was very responsive. I will come back for my needs in the future as I really feel like they had my best interest in mind through the whole process. Thank you!

Carisa, we will always be transparent with our customers and make sure they are fully informed about what needs to be done. I was extremely happy with Loyola Marina Auto Care. They were friendly, easy to work with, communicated well, timely, and priced fairly. The icing on the cake—they gave us a car wash without us asking. Not just a basic car wash, they really did a number on it inside and out. Love the extra care and going above and beyond. I'll be back for sure!

Loyola Marina Auto Care - I would give them beyond 5+++ STARS! They are incredible from customer service. Amazing follow up and follow through by Paul! Professional and incredibly nice/kind team at Loyola Marina Auto Care. Paul who helped me - was so impressive with knowledge about my car repairs needs and detailed line by line, what the issues are and what the "Next Steps" in their finding to resolve the engine light issues that was caused the car to become non-operative for last six months. And other auto shops could not figure out to find what the issues were... until I took it to Loyola Marina - which they found the "issue" immediately! and resolved the issue in such care and total precision. Thank you Paul ( you impressive customer relations ) and Tim (incredible mechanic! ) Thank you for everything you did on my Mustang. And especially, thank you for being on Triple AAA - " Highly Recommendation " List! Services: Engine repair, Auto engine tuning, Oil change

We live in San Diego and my college bound daughter just moved to LA. Her Kia needed an oil change. I recommended the place based on being a AAA station and yelp reviews. AAA stations are not the cheapest, but they are not usually dealer pricing either. My daughter brought her Kia here for the oil change. She said she showed her AAA card for the AAA discount. They gave her an estimate of 20. My guess this is labor. When she picked up the car, the bill was for 72 (+/ -). For an oil change? Dealers are cheaper. My AAA station in San Diego charges 39. I asked her if they discussed different oil options, and she said no. They also didn't apply the discount. I'm sure these guys are not scam artists, but I think they took advantage of a young women student and just did the premium service without asking. Not sure if we will use them again.

Just can't say enough about Paul and Tim at LMAC. They did what others could not do. My car was shutting down without notice at any given moment. Paul and Tim went the extra mile to find and repair the cause. I feel safer and confident now while driving. Great work and hats off to you both.

So Cal born and raised - I tend to be reserved in offering praise - you don't want exceptional businesses to get too popular because then they get discovered by the masses. I had taken my 2008 Altima Hybrid with close to 260,000miles in for service here a few months back. This team was amazing. Part of the deal- the recommendation(s) of repair work that would be placed on the 'horizon'. One of the my 'sooner than later' repairs - belt and alternator service. Being a part of the Great COVID-19 2020 LOCKDOWN, it was in the back of my mind that this would be an opportune time to get my vehicle serviced. Would they be opened? How could I get my car to the shop with the least amount of 'Social Distance' exposure? By chance I got an e-mail from Paul that stated Loyola Marina Auto Care was considered a essential business by the State of California!! As a part of their extra step in service - they would come to me, pick up my Altima and provide the repair service- AND bring my car back to me! Are you KIDDING! High End Car Care Service for a 12 year old car?!!? This team. This Team. This TEAM! Paul knew who I was, e-mailed an invoice with a quote and sent The two A-Team members over. They were waiting to pick up my hybrid in less time than it took me to find my car keys and wallet!! In less than three hours - I got a call from the shop stating my car was ready and the guys would be bringing my car back home! There are dozens of well respected auto repair shops on the Westside - but there is just something special about this team! Thank you so MUCH! Thank you for not charging a penny over your initial estimate. Thank you for providing exceptional 'outside the circle' service. But mostly Thank you for being there foe your clients in a time of need! -Don

Daughter's car alternator broke. Asked Paul to help replace the alternator. Battery needs to be replaced and these guys went out of their way to asked O' Reily for a replacement since it's still under warranty. Car repairs are not fun but these repair shop will help customers lessen the burden.
