Tim and everyone else was super nice. I live in the area and I’ve taken my car to a few other shops nearby and so far this one is my favorite. My car on both days I’ve brought it here was worked on and returned the same day, which I really appreciate. They even showed me the broken part on my suspension that was busted and explained it to me when I thought my car just needed grease to fix the loud squeaking. I’ve left my car other places nearby for days since “they haven’t had time to get to it” and I was left ubering everywhere until further notice. I certainly plan on returning here in the future.

Have you ever had a child/young adult who moved across the country and then had car trouble? We have. This young adult works hard but has to manage his money but also needs his car too be safe and reliable. Loyola Marina Auto Care and Paul to the rescue! Paul was willing to talk to us in NH to make sure things were above board. He inspected our sons car. Saw that there was a problem (oil leak) but said there was so much oil residue, he couldn't 100% diagnosis the issue. He cleaned the parts of the car that were covered with oil (and whatever else), suggested my son drive it then bring it back. It was the perfect solution! Who trusts their auto mechanic?? WE DO! The oil situation was solved and at an extremely reasonable price. As a side note, this companies prices for synthetic oil changes is $25 less than our son had been paying. He and his three roommates have a new auto mechanic and if you are in the LA area and have repair needs, find this place! You can not go wrong with Loyola Marina. I do not give recommendations lightly but if I could give 10 stars to this company, I would! From worried parents in New Hampshire we say thank you for the best customer service, honest evaluations, great prices and kindness.

Had air pressure coming out of one tire in need of a patch. Person helping me said they needed to charge me just to see the tire and add additional charges after to fix it. Total rip off went to Inglewood and got it fix for $8.

Hello Tim, it seems so easy for you to wash your hands of the responsibility. I noticed that you wrote a similar note in my invoice trying to cover yourself and blame me for turning something down. I did not turn down any service that you said was needed. You told me in February that the timing belt is something to replace in the future and then in July you told me that I should replace it in 10,000 miles. I have the original paperwork, btw. As the trip to Vegas was only 600 miles, I did not feel that it was an immediate problem. Again, I am not a mechanic. I asked that you make my car safe for the trip. As the auto professional you should have considered the trip to Vegas in real terms. You should have considered that we would be using the AC quite a bit because of the dessert heat and stressing the engine because of the elevation. You absolutely did not recommend a service that I turned down. You just said to do it in 10,000 miles. I've had the car for 14 years and I've kept it running well as a responsible mother who drives her children all day long. How dare you accuse me of turning down a necessary service to my car and putting my family in danger. You made the error which I'm sure is not the only one and that's why I will never bring my vehicles to your shop again.

This place is top notch and the service is really wonderful and accommodating. While doing some work on my car, I ran into several badly stripped bolts. After trying on my own for hours, I figured it was time to throw in the towel and have a professional extract them. I called four or five local mechanics/body shops, but nobody was willing to touch these and/or they were just too busy to see me. When I called Loyola Marina Automotive, they told me it was no problem and to come by right away. Tim, the shop owner, and all of his staff were incredibly friendly and more than happy to help. They gave me a very reasonable quote and told me it would be a few hours. Sure enough, the job was done and I got a call a few hours later. With a little creativity and a lot of skill, they were able to effectively extract the stripped bolts without any damage to the surrounding paint. They even let me know it was easier than originally expected and they dropped the price! I was thrilled with the service and the work and I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
